New Members Class
Greetings in the matchless and magnificent name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As Pastor and First Lady of the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church, we welcome you to the church were “Jesus Christ is Exalted and the Word of God is Explained.”
We want you to know that you have made the right decision this day and the first step toward becoming a member of the New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church.
During this week you will be receiving a call from our church receptionist to remind you about your New Member Orientation Classes. In your first session you will receive you CLASS 101 booklet, entitled “Discovering Church Membership.” C.L.A.S.S. 101 is the basic introduction to the New Jerusalem family. This class is divided into four different sessions of about an hour each. All four sessions will be taught every Sunday from 9:15 a.m. – 10:45a.m. They will also be offered to those who cannot attend the Sunday class on Tuesday night from 6:00pm – 7:30pm by appointment only. The topics and room locations are listed below:

In these sessions you get to know the people in our church family and receive an explanation over and over as to why we do what we do. Please note that your instructor will vary each week.
Once you have completed the four sessions and based on your mode of admission be baptized, you will be expected to attend and participate in our next Communion Service. It is at Communion, where you will receive the official right hand of fellowship along with your membership number and name and contact information for your Area Overseer. Communion takes place every first Sunday at 4:00p.m. So meet us at the table as we commune one with another in remembrance of Him.

Baptism takes place every first Sunday prior to our 10:45 a.m. service. All male candidates should report to the deacons and all female candidates should report to the deaconess at 10:15 a.m. on the first Sunday to get dressed for baptism.
